In 2015, the parish of Notre Dame de France celebrated it’s 150th anniversary of the Marist congregation finishing the year with an unveiling of a commissioned altarpiece by Timur D’Vatz.
During the fall of the USSR, artist Timur D’Vatz left Russia as an art student with a roll of canvas under his arm and paints in his bag. He now returns, again with a roll of canvas as one of Central Asia’s most successful artists.
Art and Fashion regularly influence one another and the rich paintings of Timur D’Vatz have now inspired and been translated into a clothing line by Alice + Olivia.
Painter Richard Adams was invited by Winchester College to be their artist in residence for two months in Autumn 2015.
As always the month of August was deathly quiet in London so we all took it in turns to escape for some well-deserved sunshine!
The English summer is wearing on and the RA Summer Exhibition is still in full swing. If you haven’t yet been it’s always worth a visit as the largest open submission exhibition in the world and one of the oldest, running without interruption since 1979.
Saturday evening was a beautiful balmy night in London and a wonderful time to visit the Summer Exhibition after hours as part of the Royal Academy’s ‘The Other Garden Party’.
The sun shone on Tuesday 9th June at the Private View for the Sargy Mann exhibition of his Final Paintings.
To celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary Christopher and Anna travelled to beautiful Kardamyli in Greece. On their way back to London they stopped off for just a quick few nights in Athens.
