The Austrian photographer's glossy, large-scale photographs evoke the compositions of traditional still life and portrait painting. His subjects are suffused with all of the sensuous opulence of a Caravaggio and decked out in the trappings of modern absurdity. From paperclips and piercings to spaghetti wigs and cardboard flamingoes, his works are both bizarre and beatific. After critical acclaim and success in exhibitions in Germany, Austria, Italy and United States, we are delighted to be the first to show his work in London.
