Cadogan Contemporary is a truly independent art gallery. English in sensibility, we have an international appeal.Trading successfully for over 30 years in Chelsea, our client list is as diverse and distinguished as our stock. From quirky realism to pure abstraction, our selection is eclectic but retains an enduring identity. We exhibit many established and critically acclaimed artists but choose each painting for what we think will connect to people. We have evolved with some of our artists who have been with us since the very beginning as well as always being on the lookout for new talent that will bring our gallery forward.
Art Consultancy
We offer a very straightforward approach to buying art. Whether your query relates to one painting or many, please feel free to consult Christopher or a member of our team for advice and information.
Loans
If you live in London or within reasonable distance of London, we are happy to loan out artworks for short periods free of charge so that you can see what the paintings look like in situ.
Commissions
Many of our artists are happy to undertake commissions, including portraits. These would be priced at the equivalent of other work by the artist.
Buying Overseas
We understand how difficult it is to commit to a painting, sight unseen, from abroad. To help with this, we'll send pictures you have bought, free of charge, to anywhere in the world. If you are unhappy for any reason, you can ship them back to us and the cost of the paintings is refunded.
